One lucky UK ticket holder has claimed a staggering £181million EuroMillions jackpot, making them instantly richer than Adele.
The eye-watering prize was won on Tuesday night and the recipient has become the third biggest UK National Lottery winner of all time.
The player matched all five category main numbers, plus the two lucky star numbers to win £181,073,415.70.
The multimillionaire ticket holder is now richer than global superstar Adele, who is worth an estimated £170million.
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, said: 'This is an incredible win for one lucky ticket-holder. They have immediately leapt into third place in the National Lottery rich list and have a fortune to rival Adele.
'This jackpot will no doubt change their life, and the lives of the family and friends around them and even make a difference across entire communities.
'The team of winners' advisers here at Allwyn are now on hand to guide the ticket-holder through the claim and then to provide the support they need as they embark on their new life.'
The winning EuroMillions numbers were: 12, 14, 27, 44, 50 and Lucky Stars: 4 and 12.
Last year, a ticket holder in France won £212million in the EuroMillions jackpot.
The prize had rolled over, meaning it had reached its cap with a whopping €250million up for grabs at the time.
And in June last year, an Irish family syndicate also claimed a EuroMillions jackpot worth £216million on June 17.
The jackpot had reached the maximum amount on June 6 after rolling over several times.
This historic Irish win surpassed the previous EuroMillions record of £195million, which was won by a UK ticket-holder in July 2022.
Last month a Devon father won £3.6million after a full Lidl car park meant he had to shop at Co-op instead.
Sean Henderson, 39, took home the top ticket, which meant he will receive £10,000 every month for the next 30 years.
The carpenter, from Ilfracombe, won the prize as part of The National Lottery's Set For Life Game.
Mr Henderson told how he only stopped at his local Co-op because of a full car park, before purchasing the ticket after feeling 'lucky'.
'I had finished work and popped to Lidl to grab some tea,' he said.
'There was literally nowhere to park so I decided to go to The Co-op instead.
'It was when I walked into The Co-op that I saw The National Lottery stand directly in front of me.
'Something just told me to buy a ticket - I was feeling lucky, and it turns out that I certainly was! This purchase has changed my life forever – and that of my little boy's too.'
Mr Henderson found out he had won the life-changing prize while making his coffee the following morning - but was left worried he might lose the ticket before claiming it.
He went straight to his favourite book and slid the slip of paper inside for safekeeping.
'I was so scared of losing the ticket – or actually waking up and finding out it had all been a dream,' the father said.
'I would literally wake up every single morning in the days which followed and continuously check the ticket over and over again – just to keep confirming that I was definitely a winner.'
Despite the win, Mr Henderson has no plans to give up carpentry anytime soon, having been in the profession since the age of 16 - but says it does mean he can be more flexible and avoid working in poor weather.
To celebrate his 40th birthday, he booked a five-star getaway in the Canary Islands with his partner.
He also plans to buy a house, enjoy family meals out and treat his son to a PlayStation 5.
Finally Mr Henderson will also treat his son's local team with 'a few treats'.
